For 48 hours on March 22 & 23, 2011 Peaksware offered each of the TrainingPeaks branded apps for 99-cents and donated the proceeds* TOTALING OVER $5,000 equally between the American Cancer Society's DetermiNation, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's BikeMS programs.

Peaksware, a leader in fitness communication and the developer of the popular TrainingPeaks® exercise data analyses tools, is excited to announce that we have acquired SprintGPS's premiere suite of activity tracking iPhone applications from Screenmedia, which you have previously downloaded. The suite includes Run Tracker Pro, Cycle Tracker Pro, Walk Tracker Pro, Walk Tracker Free and Pedometer Pro.

By integrating the SprintGPS mobile apps with our industry-leading training software and associated programs, TrainingPeaks provides you with many additional benefits easily found all in one place.

Additionally, this change means that the mobile application you've been enjoying will soon provide new benefits such as tracking your heart rate data, locating training routes near you and availability on other mobile platforms.

We are thrilled to be able to offer SprintGPS customers like you all of these great new features and services. We wish that this app acquisition would allow us to easily migrate your existing account over to the new product without an additional download. Unfortunately, Apple's iTunes policies require existing SprintGPS users to download the re-branded TrainingPeaks app again in order to make this transition complete.

Versions 8 and earlier of SprintGPS and Pedometer Pro will be phased out and no longer supported after May 31, 2011. However, the new TrainingPeaks branded app will soon include many more features and is backed by the helpful and knowledgeable TrainingPeaks customer support team.
